Elon Musk Eyes Liverpool FC Acquisition
Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has expressed interest in buying Liverpool Football Club, according to his father, Errol Musk. The Tesla and SpaceX owner, worth an estimated $418 billion, appears to be expanding his business empire into the world of football.
Errol Musk confirmed his son's interest in purchasing the Premier League club during an interview on Times Radio in London. When asked about the possibility of Elon buying Liverpool, Errol replied, "Oh, yes. But that doesn't mean he's buying it." He added that his son would "like to" purchase the club, citing their family's generational ties to the city of Liverpool.
Elon's grandmother was born in Liverpool, and the family has maintained connections to the city. Errol revealed that they were even acquainted with The Beatles, who grew up with some of their relatives. Elon has fondly spoken of his grandmother, who played an important role in his childhood, which included spending time on Merseyside as a young boy.
While Elon's interest in Liverpool FC is clear, it's uncertain whether a deal will materialize. Nevertheless, the prospect of the billionaire entrepreneur entering the world of football has sparked excitement among fans and industry insiders alike.
