President Ibrahim Traoré Cancels Burna Boy's Free Concert in Burkina Faso

Few days ago popular Nigerian music artist Burna Boy offered to do a free music concert in Burkina Faso. He said that the money generated at the concert would be used for the development of Burkina Faso.

Numerous reports from trusted sources say Burna Boy has often refused to perform in Nigeria unless paid hefty sum of money. With that being said it would really be suspicious of him organizing a free concert.

Many analysts and onlookers including Burkinabés viewed this as a suspicious move with some suggesting foreign influence is behind trying to infiltrate the country's growing anti-imperialist movement.
