Niger investigates on illegal Martian meteorite that was auctioned in the US

Niger has launched an investigation into the illegal sale of a Martian meteorite that was auctioned in the United States for $5 million. On Friday, the country's Council of Ministers, led by President General Abdourahamane Tiani, ordered the investigation into the sale of the meteorite, which was discovered in the Agadez region. The rock, considered the largest Martian fragment ever found on Earth, is said to be 70% larger than any other Mars meteorite recovered so far. Authorities suspect the meteorite was trafficked unlawfully, prompting the government to assign the Ministries of Mines, Higher Education, Public Security, and Justice to investigate and clarify the situation. So, how exactly did Niger's Martian meteorite end up in the U.S.?
