Burkina Faso is stepping up its game! In an exciting leap towards enhancing national security and embracing digital modernization, the country has launched a significant surveillance initiative known as "SmartBurkina", in collaboration with China.
A total of 900 CCTV cameras will be set up across the nation, keeping an eye on crucial areas to enhance safety.
The initiative also features an extensive 800km optical fiber network, linking cities and powering the smart infrastructure.
