Famous Ghanaian Actor Rejects $20,000: Dedicates Film to Ibrahim Traoré
Ouagadougou, May 28, 2025 (AIB), Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win, a renowned Ghanaian actor, announced on his Facebook page on Saturday, May 24, that he has declined a $20,000 offer. The proposal was to convince him to stop producing a film in support of Burkina Faso President lbrahim Traoré.
During this statement, Lil Win was holding the proposed amount in his hand, indicating the attempt to buy knowledge. He explained that he was approached by an envoy who, besides money, promised him other riches if he agreed to stop the project. Despite these pressure, the actor firmly rejected the offer and confirmed his commitment to finalize and broadcast the film, which is scheduled to be released in the coming days.
This decision marks an important step in the production of the piece and demonstrates its unwavering support for Burkina Faso and it's President. Actor and artiste Lil Win is known for his comic roles in Ghanaian cinema.
